- Finding Nemo – esp the Visual Commentary, deeply valuable as a writer
- Constant Gardener – brilliant, multi-genre, reverse romance thriller mystery
- Free Prize Inside – another masterpiece from Seth Godin. Love The Big Moo, too
- dailymiracles@aweber.com – ok, well this is kind of a find and an adventure. I’ve started doing A Course In Miracles (again), this time circumventing my painfully reliable inconsistency with new-fangled technology. So if you send an email here it’ll send you one lesson of the course each day until you’ve completed the whole course. Enjoy!

This is sooooo much fun! Totally loving the fiction adventure of the turbo-novelist in a refreshing new way this year. I know I can binge (I finished my 52,000 words in 6 days last year) so this year the challenge is consistency. I set about to write at least 4 days a week, so far I’ve written EVERY DAY! (on one day it says I didn’t write, but I actually went to the U2 concert that night, and my update was registered at 1:30am so it counted for the next day) AND on Nov 15 my wordcount crossed 25,000

OMG! My mum and brother recently returned from a retreat for 16 days, 9 days of which were filled with chanting. My ex has done that within his church for 4-5 hours. We used to sing every morning in Fiji to unite our souls by uniting our voices, one voice, one purpose, one love. This was that – a phenomenal spiritual, community-uniting, life-changing experience, disguised as a mild-mannered everyday rock concert. Bono got approx 180,000 people (over 3 nights) chanting with one voice during nearly every song. Just inspirational, the entire crowd resonating through my bones and my heart, united as one. <sigh> - College Life in Rocky??
The promise of fun funky work has me off visiting the great Aussie Capricorn Coast, tripping out to Great Keppel Island and Yeppoon, and enjoying the best of our sub-tropical summer sun. It’s weird to be back in Queensland and talking a bit ocker again (doesn’t work, I know, they say to surrender and let answer appear, but there’s something about elocution that’s impossible to let go of for too long), but never fear – I’m still visiting civilsation oft enough (possibly more often than while I hermited there for a season or three).
